Heres the first ever drawings i made for Kora and Seph.
Originally, Seph was supposed to be all tough and serious when i first designed him. Over time, hes turned into a friendly giant. Kora, I didn't have much early concept for her character unfortunately. A fun fact is that Both of their names were suggested by other people since i couldnt think of any at the time.
similarly, heres the first drawing of Miss Mary.
when i was first designing her, I particularly struggled on getting down the right face shape. I wanted to reach that balance between menacing, unsettling and feminine. you can also see that it is in a different art style. I had to refine my skills mid development to make sure everything looks good.
